Achaban House, a former manse, is over 160 year old. The house is less than one mile from Fionnphort on the Isle of Mull, off the beautiful west coast of Scotland. The 4000 to 5000 year old standing stone in the grounds is the perfect place to take in the picturesque views over Loch Pottie.

The proximity to Fionnphort makes this the ideal choice for those wishing to explore the historic Island of Iona, the birthplace of Scottish Christianity and the final resting place for many Scottish kings and queens.

For ramblers, The Ross of Mull offers many beautiful beaches and walks due to the unique geology. Rich in abundant bird life and home to golden and white-tailed (sea) eagles amongst other large birds of prey. For the more adventurous, trips to the nearby Treshnish Islands, with their colony of puffins and other sea birds, is a must. The view of Fingal's cave and basalt columns on the Island of Staffa should also not be missed. It is not uncommon to see whales and dolphins on these excursions.
